    Are you a skilled and passionate baker looking to take charge of your craft? One of the Eastern suburbs’ most beloved artisan bakeries, is seeking an experienced Senior Baker to work independently and continue delivering the exceptional baked goods our customers love.

    About the role

    As the Senior Baker, you’ll take full responsibility for our bakery’s day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:

    ● Producing artisanal bread for our shop.

    ● Hands-on production, including mixing, hand molding, and oven operation.

    ● Following production schedule and managing stock and inventory.

    ● Ensuring quality control, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and hygiene regulations.

    ● Contributing to the development of new recipes and products as needed.

    ● Early morning shifts to ensure fresh daily production.

    Work Schedule

    ● Working Days: Tuesday to Saturday

    ● Days Off: Sunday & Monday

    ● Public Holidays: We observe most public holidays, allowing you to enjoy time with family and friends

    What we’re looking for

    ● Proven experience as a baker, with at least 5 years in a professional setting.

    ● Expertise in sourdough making, including fermentation, shaping, and baking techniques.

    ● Ability to work independently and manage all aspects of the baking process.

    ● Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

    ● Passion for quality and an eye for detail.

    ● A willingness to learn and adapt.

    ● A team player with a strong sense of responsibility.

    South Wagga Bakery is located in Wagga Wagga, a thriving inland city in southern NSW.

    We are a wholesale and retail bakery/café that delivers to the community 6 days a week.

    Wagga is a thriving city with a new hospital, excellent schools, great sports clubs, lots of

    entertainment venues and many great things to see and do.

    We are looking for a certified baker, or a 4 th year apprentice, who would be willing to move

    to Wagga, for a position in our bakery.

    Duties:

     Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries and other baked goods in accordance

    with established recipes and quality standards.

     Monitoring oven temperatures and assessing product appearance, to determine

    optimal baking times.

     Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

     Proficiency in using standard baking equipment and tools.

     Examining the quality of raw materials, as well as weighing and measuring

    ingredients to ensure that stock is received in a proper quality and quantity.

     Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.

     Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.

     Effective communication and teamwork skills.

     Time management skills.

     Have a passion for the baking industry.

    All About Bakery Equipment is looking for a workshop trade assistant and/or Tradesman to support our Service Engineers with bakery equipment rebuilds & service within our business.

    Full Time Position- Monday to Friday

    Position includes but is not limited to the following

    Cleaning

    Workshop repairs, refurbishing and servicing of bakery equipment

    Keep workshop in organized and in a clean condition

    Receive and dispatch as required

    Working with power tool

    Continuous physical activity

    Lifting

    On site servicing and repairs

    Installations and pull outs bakeries etc.

    Apprenticeship opportunity for the right person

    Qualifications required

    Bakery equipment service experience preferred

    Forklift ticket an advantage, nonessential - training provided

    Mechanical, electrical and engineering interest

    Able to work with minimal supervision

    must have own transport - ability to get to and from work

    Minimum Year 10 Schooling - for apprentice opportunity.

    Salary based on previous experience with opportunity for increase, subject to performance reviews.

    To be considered for this role, you will have:
    • A relevant trade qualification (at least Certificate III level)
    Advanced knowledge of all stages of the baking and patisserie process
    • Creative mindset and willingness to produce new products with seasonal produce
    • Understanding of bakery equipment
    • Ability to work shifts with early morning starts
    • A high standard of personal presentation
    • A positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Willingness to continuously learn, retain knowledge, and adapt to changes
    Has availability to work across a 7-day roster, between the hours of 2am and 2pm
    Pastry Chef will be responsible for:

    • Delivery of quality pastry products both sweet and savoury

    • Creating high quality fresh products using seasonal produce

    • Ensuring a high standard of bakery presentation and cleanliness

    • Being a supportive and encouraging team member
